INVESTIGATIONS OF PROBLEMS OF STAR FORMATION.

Abstract

The research work is concerned with the determination, for F and G stars, of color and absolute magnitude, distance from the galactic plane, space velocity, age, and an index of atmospheric metal content. The instrumentation used for photoelectric photometry is described. A catalogue of 1217 stars brighter than V=6.5(M), mostly of spectral classes A, F and G, is also included.
