OSCILLATIONS DUE TO A NONLINEAR RESTORING FUNCTION.

Abstract

Oscillations of a gas-operated oscillator with restoring force are shown to be similar to the motion of the harmonic oscillator. The effects of a spin field are considered relative to the singularities of the system. An analysis is performed, including the effects of viscous damping and deriving amplitude and frequency as functions of time. (Author)
