STUDY OF NUCLEAR EXCITATIONS IN B10, B11, AND N14 BY INELASTIC ELECTRON SCATTERING AT 180 DEG,

Abstract

A study is made of nuclear energy states in B10, B11, and N14 by means of inelastic electron scattering at 180 deg. Radiation widths were derived for the excited states and the results are compared with the single particle model predictions. For the magnetic dipole transitions in B10 and B11 a comparison is made of the experimental data with recently calculated M1 transition strengths in p-shell nuclei by Cohen and Kurath. (Author)
