TRANSPORTATION FORECAST AND PREDICTION STUDY,
Abstract
This paper provides an overview of the structure of and progress on a study of certain basic aspects of the development of transportation networks. It was noted that the level and character of transportation development are viewed as a function of certain characteristics of the area containing that transportation. Five ways in which transportation development can be given operational meaning were also discussed. (Author)
