FREQUENCY DISTRIBUTIONS OF UPPER WINDS IN THE GREENLAND AREA.

Abstract

Wind roses have been prepared for a group of stations on Greenland, and in the surrounding area, at six levels in the free atmosphere. The roses have been entered at the appropriate locations on a map of the area to provide a concise areal display of the frequency distributions of the wind direction. Mean wind speeds from each compass direction are shown as well. (Author)
