ON THE LOW LATITUDE 'NEGATIVE BAYS' IN THE AFTERNOON SECTOR.

Abstract

It is argued that the so-called low latitude 'negative bay' in the afternoon sector is not caused by the return current from the polar electrojet, but is the field of the simultaneously growing asymmetric main phase decrease. (Author)
