THE DYNAMICS OF STRATOSPHERIC CIRCULATIONS.

Abstract

This report covers the following scientific investigations of the lower stratosphere: the energy budget, the transmissivity of an Elsasser band, the ozone-measuring program, velocity divergence, the vorticity budget, ageostrophic motions, and preparation of data for a study of 1958 stratospheric warming.
