HYBRID COMPUTATION OF TRANSIENT RADIATION EFFECTS ON ELECTRONICS.

Abstract

Hybrid computers have been investigated to determine their particular usefulness in TREE prediction programs. Several approaches for using hybrid computers have been investigated and the merits of each compared with all analog or all digital computation. The advantages of analog, digital and hybrid computer applications to one particular problem are discussed. Data are presented for a hybrid solution of the pre-preamplifier prompt gamma radiation response. (Author)
