DEEP FREEZE '61 DENTAL OFFICER'S REPORT,

Abstract

The purpose of the report is to describe the duties and situation facing the Dental Officer assigned to the Support Force Activities of Operation Deep Freeze, as found by the Dental Officer assigned to Deep Freeze Six. During staging, during deployment, and while on-station in Antarctica, the author describes the facilities available, the services expected, the research accomplished, his collateral duties, and gives his recommendations as applied to the Dental Officer's situation.
