PREDICTION OF REENLISTMENT USING REGRESSION ESTIMATION OF EVENT PROBABILITIES (REEP)

Abstract

The report describes the statistical methodology of a 'package' of computer programs referred to as REEP (Regression Estimation of Event Probabilities). REEP uses regression analysis techniques to arrive at equations which yield probabilities of occurrence for each of a set of possible events. An application of REEP to predicting reenlistment for enlisted Navy men is given.
