DEVELOPMENT OF A FIXTURE AND A PROCEDURE FOR HARD-ANODIZING THE SURFACES OF A LONG ALUMINUM TUBE WITH A DEEP BLIND-HOLE.

Abstract

A rack was designed and a method developed for the hard-anodizing of exterior and interior diameters of a long tube. The development of the procedure was complicated by the necessity of hard-anodizing the interior diameter of an extremely deep blind-hole. The design of the fixture is discussed and the method is outlined. (Author)
