ON ONE MATHEMATICAL PROBLEM OF THE THEORY OF HEAT TRANSFER,

Abstract

Heat and mass transfer in the stratified turbulent atmosphere are discussed. The diffusion equation is solved for a two-layer model. The coefficient of turbulent exchange and wind profile are assumed to be power functions of height (3) in the lower layer of the atmosphere and exponents (4) in the upper layer, the solutions (13) being conjugated on the boundary between these two layers.
