THE TRANSIENT THEORY OF THERMAL SELF-IGNITION,

Abstract

A transient theory of thermal explosion is constructed, and the reaction rate and the spatial distribution of temperature in the reaction vessel are considered. The theory accounts for the change in concentration of the reacting substance throughout the reaction. The parameters characterizing the explosives are discussed.
