THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF ROCKET EXHAUST PRODUCTS.

Abstract

Experiments are to be performed on thermodynamic and physical properties of some of the compounds of light metals likely to be formed by the combustion of solid or hybrid propellants and their additives at temperatures of 2000 to 5000K. The thermodynamic properties are to be determined for gaseous BeOH, BOH, and AlCl2, and the entropy of Be(OH)2 is to be determined. Apparatus was assembled and constructed for these experiments.
