A METHOD OF SOLVING THE INTEGRAL EQUATIONS FOR THE ERTICAL PROPAGATION OF TIME-HARMONIC ELECTROMAGNETIC PLANE WAVES IN ANISOTROPIC VERTICALLY-HOMOGENEOUS MEDIA,

Abstract

The problem of formulating a rigorous mathematical description of electromagnetic wave propagation in anisotropic inhomogeneous media is dealt with in this work. This based on a full-wave treatment. The coupled integral equations for continuous-waves are developed and methods for their solution deduced utilizing a matrix technique. Application is made to an exactly known solution as a test of the method. (Author)
