VOICE ACTUATED ADDRESS MECHANISM.
Abstract
Most of the work was related to investigations leading to: (1) The improvement of preprocessing techniques; (2) The improvement of the efficiency of 'Learning'. Included is the program extending the learning capability to include mass storage of a large set of training voices. The program is an automated learning program and a minimum of operator intervention is required. Several programs designed to test voiced words for ease of separation were written, debugged, and applied to VAAM''s vocabulary. A filter correlation program was evaluated. Two other programs were used to search for elements of the digital voicings which would yield an indication of the separability of VAAM's vocabulary. (Author)
