A DISCUSSION OF THE FORMULA USED IN COMPUTING THE AMOUNT OF FUEL REQUIRED TO PRODUCE COMBUSTION GASES AT A GIVEN TEMPERATURE IN A COMBUSTION OR AN AFTERBURNER,

Abstract

A generalization of the formula for calculating the amount of fuel required to produce combustion gases at a given temperature in a combustion chamber or in an afterburner is presented. The applicability of the original formula based on (CH3)m fuel to other fuels is discussed. (Author)
