ON THE MECHANISM OF BOILING OF LIQUID SODIUM ON A HEATING SURFACE AT FREE CONVECTION,

Abstract

Evaluated are the critical nucleus radius, the growth rate and separation diameter, the bubble separation frequency with sodium boiling on a heating surface with natural convection. It has been shown that all these quantities differ essentially from the similar ones with water boiling at a normal pressure. (Author)
