WEATHER RADAR MAPS ON FACSIMILE AND NEW THEORETICAL STUDIES.

Abstract

This Final Report covers the period January 1963 to August 1965. It reviews the development in incorporation of facsimile reproduction and transmission of stepped grey scale weather radar maps into the McGill Weather Radar system. Theoretical studies in the reporting period found no reason for clouds to yield a smaller signal than that indicated by 'precipitation' theory. (Author)
