BIOSYNTHESIS OF VITAMIN B12 IN METHANE FERMENTATION,

Abstract

Vitamin B12 was produced from potato starch production by-products. The fermentation was carried out on potato cell liquor and pulp under thermophilic conditions (56-58C) with a culture of methane producing bacteria, first adapted by by-products of the potato starch industry.
