ROLE OF ABSORBED RADIATION IN FORMING THE RADIATIVE BALANCE,

Abstract

The absorbed radiation distribution patterns on the surface of the earth are studied using data from observations and computations. The connections between the absorbed radiation and the radiative balance, and also between the absorbed radiation and the air temperature, are considered. (Author)
