ON THE ESSENCE OF A NUCLEAR-MISSILE WAR,

Abstract

It is concluded that nuclear war because of its consequences transcends the framework of previous ideas regarding the correlation of politics and war. Still remaining a continuation of politics, nuclear war due to the consequences of the use of atomic weapons is now circumscribed as an instrument of politics. This fact does not negate either the possibility of the aggressors unleashing a war nor the possibility of our victory in the war. The chief conclusion derived from the analysis of this problem is that it is necessary to do everything in order to avert a world nuclear war.
