PROBLEMS IN NONLINEAR VISCOELASTICCITY.

Abstract

Several nonlinear constitutive relations proposed by different investigators are briefly reviewed and an enumeration is given of the other fundamental equations needed in the analysis of specific problems. Among the problems discussed are steady flow of nonlinear viscoelastic fluids, periodic motion, wave propagation and thermomechanical coupled effects. (Author)
