Abstract
The reports submitted to the conference, in addition to the general reports dealing with the theoretical and practical problems involved in the study and exploitation of the taiga and the coordination of these operations, were grouped according to such large problems as forests and lumber, land exploitation, the all-round exploitation of the taiga, the physico-geographical problems involved in the exploitation of the taiga, the life and health of the population in the taiga zone, mapping the taiga, and the medical geography of the taiga.
