THE QUASI-STATIC FIELDS OF DIPOLE ANTENNAS. PART 1.

Abstract

The electric and magnetic field components produced by vertical and horizontal dipoles (both electric and magnetic types) are presented for the quasi-static range, absolute value (free space propagation constant x rho) << 1, and z = h = 0. The special cases of absolute value (earth propagation constant x rho) > 1 or < 1, and a stratified lower half space (the earth) are examined in detail. (Author)
