INVESTIGATE ADVANCED HEAT EXCHANGER DESIGNS OF COMPACT HEAT EXCHANGERS WHEN OPERATING IN A MARINE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The effect of turbulence and wakes on heat transfer and flow friction characteristics of flat and perforated plates are to be investigated. This progress report describes the test apparatus, flow visualization methods, turbulence generator description, a summary of analytical work performed to date and, a bibliography of related work.
