VARIABLE RELUCTANCE TRANSDUCER FOR USE IN WIND TUNNEL PITCH DAMPING MEASUREMENTS,

Abstract

This report describes the theory of operation and the electrical and mechanical design of a variable reluctance transducer for measuring the angular amplitude of a wind tunnel pitch damping model. Data acquired with this device are compared with those obtained using conventional photographic techniques. (Author)
