New Principle of Ignition and Combustion in Engines

Abstract

The article considers the shortcomings of internal combustion engines associated with the combustion process taking place in them. It also describes a new principle of ignition and combustion of the working mixture (precombustion chamber jet ignition) and presents data on the improvement of performance in precombustion chamber engines compared with spark ignition engines. These data were obtained during numerous testings of these engines on trucks and light automobiles.
