SIMULATION FOR CONTROL,

Abstract

The paper is a description of a research project which considers the problems of how a manager can use a simulation model to control a transformation process. The approach is to observe a manager as he participates in the development and use of a simulation model to control the operation of a computation center. How the model is used and the important characteristics of the model are being defined into four attribute classes. This classification is to codify the man-model decision process and to generate hypotheses for further research. (Author)
