ROLECENTRISM AND EXPERIENCE IN AN OCCUPATION.

Abstract

The paper examines the apparent influence of age, academic degree, and years of experience on differences among elementary school teachers in their perception of the 'acting out' or disruptive child in their classrooms. Years of experience appears to be the primary factor and is held to be consistent with the theoretical model for rolecentric behavior. (Author)
