Abstract
The book is arranged to provide first a pedagogical description of doppler tracking, by way of introduction, followed by theoretical background information, supporting papers, an operations manual for orbit improvement program, and descriptions of the programs themselves. References are included throughout and at the end of most of the articles. Many of the referenced papers are included as part of the book. All the papers originally appeared as internal memorandums of the Laboratory and have been retained in this format in the interests of expediting publication. All the papers can be read independently and are paginated separately.
