Abstract

The pamphlet examines in detail the basic characteristics of stainless steels, which are being used to an increasing extent in the production of ships' propellers of the highest and the normal classes; presents comparative data relative to operational durability of stainless steel propellers and of those made of cast iron, carbon steel and colored metal alloys.
