Abstract

The results of the following themes of investigation are reported: (1) Visual control of flashing in fireflies. (2) Presynaptic inhibition in cat's lateral geniculate body. (3) Influence of sleep and wakefulness on the response of lateral geniculate units to sinewave photic stimulation. (4) Effects of synchronized sleep on the response of lateral geniculate units to flashes of light. (Author)
