MINIMAL AREA THIN-FILM R-C CIRCUITS.

Abstract

The problem of finding the minimal area thin-film R-C circuit with a particular time constant is analyzed with elementary calculus with the conclusion that the circuit has minimal area when the area used by the resistor is equal to the area used by the capacitor, regardless of the resistance of capacitance per unit area.
