RETRIEVAL SYSTEM EXPERIMENTATION AND EVALUATION AT LRC

Abstract

A time-shared experimental document retrieval system under development at The University of Texas is briefly described. A method of evaluating the effect on retrieval performance of controlled changes in the retrieval processor is proposed.
