PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR SILICON NPN SWITCHING TRANSISTORS.

Abstract

The main areas of progress during the first quarter were as follows: (1) Developing the PERT chart. (2) Modifying existing Production Specifications in such a way as to allow the processing of this small geometrytype transistor. (3) Processing test runs through the diffusion, photoresist and metallization areas. (4) Evaluating wafers after the diffusion and metallization process. (5) Starting preliminary work on the assembly modifications. (6) Evaluating completed transistors to the existing electrical specifications. (Author)
