NON-LINEAR THEORY OF PLASMA DYNAMICS.

Abstract

The effects of the non-linear process of resonant wave-wave scattering for unstable modes in a homogeneous plasma system with a constan t external magnetic field are evaluated. It is shown that this particular non-linear mechanism may provide a partial explanation of some existing experimental results, and in addition, provides an experiment to verify the non-linear theory.
