A BASIC STUDY OF THE SLIDING CONTACTS IN ROLLING BEARINGS.

Abstract

During the present reporting period the work continued with a study of the torque calibration of the stationary ball support under a range of contact loads. The unexpected nature of this relationship has led to a more detailed study of the stiffness of the machine.
