AN INVESTIGATION OF COATINGS USED AS ANODE SCREENS IN CATHODIC PROTECTION (ISSLEDOVANIYE POKRYTIY DLYA PRIMENENIYA IKH V KACHESTVYE OKOLOANODYNKH EKRANOV PRI KATODNOY ZASHCHITYE),

Abstract

The article cites the results of laboratory tests involving a series of non-metallic coverings in still and moving sea water during the simultaneous activity of an electric current at various voltages. On the basis of these experiments epoxy and ethynolene coatings are recommended for experimental use on vessels as anode screens in cathodic protection. (Author)
