NUMBERED-LINE SYNTACTIC DESCRIPTION OF JOVIAL (J3),
Abstract
This is an unofficial syntactic description of J3. Most of the syntactic definitions leading to definition of a program are given a numeric reference. A few oft-cited definitions are given references consisting of Greek letters or special symbols. The definitions are also named, but the names only provide the reader with semantic cues. The names do not occur within definitions. All citations are in terms of the numeric, Greek-letter, or special-symbol references. (Author)
