Abstract
This report explains the purpose, background, and applications of the Computer Oriented Design of Electronic Devices program (CODED) for avionic power transformers. It also describes the purpose, need, and techniques of the transformer component standardization effort. The report is intended to acquaint the reader with the CODED project and provide enough information so that a transformer designer may use the program successfully. It is also intended to illustrate the benefits of using digital methods as a tool in the solution of engineering design problems. (Author)
