THREE COLOUR PHOTOELECTRIC PHOTOMETRY OF THE MOON.

Abstract

This report describes experiments attempting to measure the time variation of the luminescence of the lunar surface material, assuming a luminescence band for the surface material similar to that stimulated in certain meteorite samples in the laboratory. The two instruments used are described briefly and a discussion of the results obtained, both in the laboratory and at the telescope, is given. (Author)
