INVESTIGATION OF CONTACTLESS SWITCHING CONCEPTS FOR APPLICATION TO AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. VOLUME VI. FLIGHT TEST EVALUATION OF A PROTOTYPE CONTACTLESS SWITCHING SYSTEM.

Abstract

A program was conducted which included the design, fabrication, installation and flight testing of a prototype 'Contactless Switching' system with a capability of controlling a limited number of electrical circuits in an F-8 type airplane. Prototype hardware and the system package were operationally checked in the laboratory, and an operational performance record of the flight evaluation was maintained. 'Proposed' Military Standard Specifications were prepared for hardware comprising the 'Contactless Switching System'. (Author)
