ERRORS IN THE MEASUREMENT OF THE PROBABILITY DENSITY FUNCTION.

Abstract

This report reviews common sources of error produced in the measurement of the probability density function of a random signal. The processing time error problem is formulated for the digital computer, for solution through the use of tables and for several approximate solutions. Results are computed and compared. Other forms of error are reviewed in much less detail. (Author)
