Abstract
The collection contains a number of works illustrating numerical methods of analysis and forecasting of weather. In particular, problems in the forecasting of winds, temperatures, and vertical currents, the prediction of pressures in the stratosphere, etc. are examined in detail. The results of investigations of the structure of meteorological fields, applicable to the problem of analysis and forecasting of weather, are outlined. The collection is intended for specialists in the fields of dynamic and synoptic meteorology and in climatology, and for students of advanced courses in the corresponding specialties. (Translator)
