GASDYNAMIC METHODS IN MHD FLOW.

Abstract

The report contains a brief analysis of the following items: (a) Two-dimensional steady flow (variational method), (b) One-dimensional unsteady flow (variational method), (c) Plasma with finite conductivity (exact solutions), (d) Approximate solutions and linearized equations, (e) New numerical methods, (f) Low conductivity plasma, (g) Applications, (h) Plasma acceleration and MHD power generation. A detailed discussion of future plans is given. (Author)
