HIGH ENERGY SYSTEM (ORGANIC ELECTROLYTE)

Abstract

The study of high energy density systems included conductance measurements of various non-aqueous electrolytes; corrosion and solubility studies of electrode materials in electrolytes; preparation of a reversible lithium reference electrode; fabrication and evaluation of lithium anodes and CuF2, CoF3 and CrF3 cathodes; thermodynamic studies of the lithium-cupric fluoride cell; and kinetic studies of the cupric fluoride discharge reaction.
