PLASMA ARC STUDIES FOR ALLOY ANALYSIS.

Abstract

An evaluation of the plasma arc spectrochemical technique for alloy analysis was made. Matrix effects were studied and the technique was applied to the analysis of aluminum, cobalt, iron, and nickel base alloys. The advantages and disadvantages of the method are given. (Author)
