THE GROUND-STATE THREE-BODY CORRELATION FUNCTION IN A DILUTE BOSON GAS WITH HARD-SPHERE INTERACTION.

Abstract

The three-body correlation function for the ground state of a boson gas with hard sphere interactions is evaluated in the approximation of pair excitations. The evaluation is made using both the formalism of second quantization and the cluster expansion method in configuration space. The result is compared with a previous calculation using the same wave function. The behaviour of the correlation function is discussed. (Author)
