ON THE TRANSPORT PHENOMENA IN RARIFIED GASES,
Abstract
The Lorentz-Hilbert-Enskog method is used to explain on the basis of the molecular interaction laws the general Stokes-Navier equations for compressible media and to calculate at the same time the transport coefficients in terms of molecular quantities.
